Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the two fighters met personally to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Former two-time world title holder Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of those words, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his theatrics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather targeted former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British opponent Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.
Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
However, the novice continues to be one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
