In a unexpected crossover event that defies usual forecasts, the game developer has unveiled an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.
Strange Mission Revealed
According to the official release, "A mysterious meeting draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where whispers of forbidden ceremonies and monstrous transformations reverberate through the darkness." The plot features a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a secret cult.
The adventure focuses on "peculiar experiments and a monstrous enemy" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Locations and Changes
The teaser features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser ends with a powerful moment showing a character, probably the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
